Buying gear doesn’t always have to break the bank. These Amazon Must-Haves are great for the snowboard season!
I’ve casually been snowboarding since 2009, but it wasn’t until 2019 that I wanted to get more serious and learn how to carve. Starting off with absolutely no gear of my own in 2019, it seemed financially daunting to get started. One resource I found was looking on Amazon to get some cheap alternatives (also keep an eye out for end-of-the-season sales!).
Even though for some items it is better to invest, the items below have been tried by me, and I have found value in them.

5 Amazon Must-Haves for Snowboard Season 2022/23
Super cute and functional. I love these down pants, and I love the price even more! If you’re in the market for down pants, you already know how pricey they can be. Finding these on Amazon in this great blue color was such a win for me this snowboard season! I use these before and after my snowboarding sesh.
I’m getting into park this season, and this has saved the bum multiple occasions. Plus purchasing these on Amazon saves a little cash, because the Burton padded shorts can be pricey. They also give an extra layer of warmth, which I’m happy about, since I’m always on the colder side. They are a bit thick, so your pants or bibs may feel a bit fitted; I needed a little time to get used to the movement with them – but still worth having.
You never know when this is needed! I’ve heard stories from a friend who’ve had their new board stolen on the -SAME- day they first brought it out. My heart breaks for them. I always like the peace of mind when leaving my board out while going out for après, especially when eating at one of my 10 Favorite Budget Restaurants in Whistler, Canada.
Great cheap version on Amazon, and definitely an Amazon must-have. I’m usually riding slower than my boyfriend, so it’s great knowing if he’s making a left at the fork or letting him know I’m stuck in pow. Are there better ones? Definitely. But I do find value in having these!
5. Wrist Guards
So happy I purchased these wrist guards! These feel super durable, and I’m not scared to fall. Without these, I do feel my wrist tender when getting up, so these wrist guards lessen that pain.
As always, thank you for reading!
